Getting here by car

By car to the Möhnesee

The available parking is in high demand, especially in the summer months.  The following information will allow you to reach the lake and find a parking space with maximum ease.

 
Coming from the direction of Kassel or Dortmund on Autobahn 44, take the Soest/Möhnesee exit and follow Route B229 in the direction of Möhnesee.  This road will take you through the locality of Wippringsen all the way to Delecke, and from there to the south shore of the lake.  You can reach the other localities via Route B516 (Haarstrang).  Once you’ve passed through Wippringsen, you can turn off onto Route B516.

Coming from the direction of Hamm or Bestwig on Autobahn 46, take the Arnsberg-Ost exit and follow Route B229 in the direction of Möhnesee.  This will take you to the lake’s south shore and then across the Delecker Bridge to the north shore.  
 

PARKING TICKET


A daily parking ticket for Lake Möhnesee costs € 5.00 and pays off for visits lasting four hours or more.  The ticket is valid at all parking facilities of the municipality of Möhnesee.  For the duration of its validity, the ticket allows you to move from one parking spot to the next.

Paying via app


The MoBiLET app allows you to use your mobile phone to pay for parking tickets as well as for the following services in the municipality of Möhnesee:
- Bicycles boxes along the dam: recharging and secure covered parking for e-bikes. 
- E-mobility: direct payment for recharging at the Mennekes-brand charging columns.
- Delecke Nordufer mobile home site: payment of the fee for overnight stays.
