How to play disc golf:

Disc golf is similar to mini golf - only with discs. The aim is to throw the disc into a metal basket with as few throws as possible. You start at the drop point. From there, you throw your disk towards the basket. Once the disc is on the ground, you continue throwing from exactly this point until it lands in the basket. The player with the fewest throws at the end wins.

Tips & tricks:

  1. Stand sideways to the target; shoulder facing the basket, arm; swing straight forward.
  2. Hold the target straight; throw the target horizontally - do not tilt it upwards.
  3. Throw forward; guide the disk close to the body and release to the target.

Rules:

  1. Every throw counts. Start at the lane sign. Everyone throws one after the other.
  2. The next throw is made from where the target is lying. The game continues from the spot where the disk comes to rest.
  3. The player furthest away from the basket throws first. The order depends on the distance
  4. OB - means "Out of Bounds", out of the playing area. If your disk lands outside the marked playing area, a penalty throw counts and you continue playing from the last valid position.
  5. If you are close to the basket, throw the disk into the basket from below. Throws from the side can bounce out.
  6. Watch out for other players and walkers and only throw when the path is clear.
