The special charm of the village of Berlingsen is made up of 16 farmsteads . The oldest half-timbered farm in the village is Barnhausen Farm. The memorial in the center of the village is also worth seeing. The memorial to the fallen of the First World War is a small open cap with an old wayside shrine in honor of St. Pancratius. From time immemorial, the site has been a blessing station during the traditional Pancratius procession. It can be found on a small hill at the entrance to the village. Standing under mighty lime trees , it invites you to linger.
Various wayside shrines adorn the village and its immediate surroundings.
The Himmeltenberg vantage point offers a uniquely beautiful view. The meadows around Berlingsen are ideal for walks. Walkers, hikers and cyclists are invited to take a break by 5 benches specially created by the village community. On the old Kressweg near Berlingsen, you will also come across Ulrich Möckel's "Kontur" trail marker.
