On this hiking trail, you’ll explore the wooded landscape along the shores of Lake Möhnesee. But you’ll also get plenty of great views of the lake, the Möhne Dam, and the Delecker Bridge. You’ll walk on gravel paths, paved paths, and forest trails. The playground along the trail is sure to delight children.
A varied tour that takes you into the Arnsberg Forest and up the 250-meter-high Schreppenberg. Forest animals sometimes appear in the clearings along the trail. You’ll also reach Lake Möhnesee. It’s well worth taking a detour to the imposing dam, a 40-meter-high structure built from natural stone blocks. From there, you can let your gaze wander far across the lake and valley. In quiet coves, you can watch waterfowl from the shore. Part of the route follows the Sauerland Forest Trail.
