Properties:
The Landscape Information Center, or LIZ for short, is a special excursion destination near the balancing pond below the dam wall. The interactive exhibition appeals to visitors of all ages. On three floors, the LIZ offers information and hands-on stations on the topics of landscape, water and forest. Lectures on environmental issues are also regularly on the program.
But it doesn't stop at theory, because it also goes out into nature. In addition to the outdoor area, guided hikes invite visitors to explore the region around the Westphalian Sea. As part of the programs for vacations or children's birthday parties, younger explorers are also introduced to the special features of flora and fauna in an age-appropriate and extremely exciting way.
