The Westphalian Sea is the perfect destination for fun and excitement for the whole family.  The paths circling the lake are level and serve as comfortable bike trails for both young and old.  Bask in the sun with a shoreside picnic at one of the public bathing areas and then cool off with the kids as they romp and splash in the water.  Active families can hike to various forest playgrounds or enjoy the Seepark, a large adventure playground with a skating area.
